The College Hospital started functioning in the new building in the year 1997. It is a hundred bedded hospital. The various inpatient sections are arranged in the following wards.
Overone lakh thirty thousand patients are seeking medical aid from the out patient department of the hospital every year.
High quality medicines from Co-operative pharmacy, Alleppey are given to patients on homeopathic principles offering cure to general medicine conditions, surgical and gynecological cases, helping to avoid surgery in many a case. Base line investigations are done in the Hospital lab, supervised by Department of Pathology. X-ray, ECG, USS are other facilities offered in investigation. Treatment modalities also include oxygen therapy, nebulisation, critical case, pain and palliative. Physiotherapy units will also be offered in the near future. There is a round-the clock service to doctors. We also give preventive medicines and runs special camp at Vizhinjam panchayath office campus on every Wednesday from 9am to 1 pm. Community medical camp is also camped at Nedumangad/Venjaramood on first Saturday of every month. |
